Loïc Jouannigot born in Brittany in 1953.
After graduating from the Beaux-Arts, he settled in Rennes as a freelance artist, working on numerous advertising projects, posters and artistic collaborations on TV shows and children's magazines.
1987, first children's book: Le Premier bal d'Agaric Passiflore, published by MILAN - text by Geneviève HURIET. It's a hit. Success crowned by literary prizes and various awards (Prix St Exupéry). This was followed by a long series for children (la famille Passiflore - 23 titles published), "les Pataclous" MILAN edition - 3 titles, "Les Doux Doux" NATHAN edition - 8 titles.
Today, the Passiflore Bunnies have been translated into 28 languages and are the subject of a 52-episode television series, with each episode lasting 26 minutes (produced by EURO VISUAL TF1). The series has been airing since 2004 (on TF1, Disney , etc.).
Still working in the children’s field, in 2009 he turned to comics with his first wordless one-shot aimed at early readers, *Château Chat*, published by Dargaud. He continued this venture with the publication of new comic book series and the revival of the *Passiflore* characters.
